NANETTE KANT
Nanette is a person who sees people as they are. She looks through the outside and sees what usually remains hidden for others. She will hear words, that haven't been said, see emotions, that are not shown. In conversations she is easily able to fathom what it is really about. She is powerful in asking questions that get down to the root of the matter, in reflecting and confronting in a way that is powerful and loving at the same time. Anyone guided by her, will feel safe and fully heard and at the same time be inspired and stimulated to live up to his-her full potential.
A few reactions from people who have been guided by Nanette:
- "Within one week I gained more then I gained visiting a psychologist for a period of sixteen weeks" - single mother, 42 years of age.
- "You have a refreshing technique, simple, but highly effective" - woman, 45, experienced coach/trainer.
- "Your sharp questions helped me a lot. You managed to stay focused and kept bringing me back to the essence of my question" - man, 53, director of big international company.
- "I felt safe and truly heard. Thank you for all eye-openers." - woman, 38, neurologist.
- "Amazing how you integrate those symbols. You managed to create powerful breakthroughs in a very simple way." - woman, 45, psychologist.
- "The way you are, so full of trust, totally in the here and now. I guess that creates a natural space to make things happen. Thank you so much for inspiring me." - woman, 47, therapist.
Vision
Nanette believes in the power of simplicity. Personal development in her eyes means taking away all your outside layers, so that the simple core can shine as a source of power.
She herself will always develop herself by attending courses, workshops and retreats on a regular base. Authors like Thich Nhat Hanh, Jon Kabat-Zinn, Hans Knibbe, Deepak Chopra, Gary Zukav en Stephen Covey inspire her on that path and confirm what she considers her inner knowledge: We are creating our own reality by the way we look at things. Only if we are willing to explore our deepest convictions about our reality, we will be able to actually change our life into the way we want it to be.
"The realization that we have the choice to change our lives, that we are not victims of our past, the present or somebody else's actions, that realization gives an incredible feeling of freedom and power. It is this consciousness that I would like to pass on"
Living in Portugal
In 1996 Nanette moved from Holland to the Portuguese Algarve. Here she discovered the amazing power that nature has. "Nature is such a perfect mirror for human processes. It is wonderful to be able to use that in my work. I feel very connected with nature," she explains.
After a career as a journalist, Nanette was working as a manager in several hospitality companies. In the beginning of 2001 she started her career as a life coach and trainer, as well in Holland as in Portugal. She developed inspiring courses in which she teaches life coaches and counselors how to actively use nature in their work with people.
